The Commerce Society of Dharmaraja College successfully concluded EMPRESA'26, its flagship Annual Commerce Day. Aimed at nurturing future corporate leaders, the Inter-school Competitions attracted over 580 students from 47 schools across the island. The program featured eight distinct competition categories, including Quiz, Business Idea Presentations, and Strategic Case Studies, providing a platform for finalists to showcase their analytical talents.
The Awarding Ceremony held on March 26, 2026, featured distinguished guests including Chief Guest Dr. Srinath Dissanayake, a Senior Lecturer at the University of Kelaniya and a proud alumnus. Joining him as the Guest of Honour was Mr. Upul Bandara. Their insights provided invaluable inspiration, effectively bridging the gap between academic theory and professional practice for the young aspirants.
The competitive spirit reached its peak as Mahamaya Girls' College, Kandy, claimed the prestigious title of Overall Champions. They were followed by Ananda College, Colombo 10, as the Overall 1st Runner-up, and Swarnamali Girls' College, Kandy, as the 2nd Runner-up. EMPRESA'26 has once again solidified its reputation as one of the most significant student commerce festivals in the country.
