Sectional Head: Mrs. I. Dilrukshini

The Commerce Section which comprises 260 students and 12 members of the staff is one of the outstanding sections of the School, headed byMrs U.G.S. Kusumsiri with proper guidance and wise council.

The contribution made, service rendered by the past students. teachers and the sectional heads of the past years to uplift the standard of the section are tremendous. Of 164 students who sat for the A/L in 2009, 132Got through the exam and out of them 34 were qualified to enter the University to follow the Commerce and Management Courses.

Student Welfare

Multifaceted activities have been launched for the welfare of the students. Other than the scholarship scheme the needy students have been provided with financial assistance and material support.
One or two students who qualified to enter the University whose economy is not on sound footing are awarded the Yasas Chandrasekara scholarships for higher studies by.
the fixed deposit open at the Bank of Ceylon, by our brilliant and dedicated past student Yasas Chandrasekara of Dharmaraja College. 
Undoubtedly, the parents old boys and the well wishes who extend their co-operation in almost all the activies of the College are a great asset to the College.

I would prefer to pay my sincere gratitude to the former sectional heads and the teachers for their valuable support given to develop the physical and human resources of the Commerce Section.
