Nuwan Jaliyagoda was awarded ‘CHAMPIONSHIP’ at Sri Lankan Robotics Challenge, all island robotics competition in school category organized by the University of Moratuwa in 2016 of February. 

Nuwan Jaliyagoda is a student of grade 13 science stream, also a highly talented student for his studies and the president of the College ICT Society in 2014/2015.

Nuwan Jaliyagoda, a well known personality in the field of computer science at Dharmaraja College achieved an opportunity of participating in the International “SEARCC” software competition in 2014 representing Sri Lanka, organized by the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Computer Society of Sri Lanka . He has been awarded ‘CHAMPIONSHIP’ at the Robotics competition in school category organized by the University of Moratuwa in 2016 of March He also won the Silver medal at the All island robotics competition - " IESL Robogames -2015" at Techno annual engineering exhibition, BMICH, Colombo. And his team won the 1st place at the" Dialog App Challenge - 2015 " mobile application competition in School Category organized by Dialog Axiata (Pvt}Ltd in collaboration with University of Peradeniya, Faculty of Science and was awarded the "Gold award" for the most successful mobile application.
